There are various versions of the English course which will be available under 'English Seekho' and are arranged accordingly under various categories like basic course, social course, professional course, advanced course and full course so as to meet the requirements of all section of the people. It mainly focuses on situation based spoken English which consist of 44 lessons with practice sets for each of them.
Rishi Malhotra, who is the head of the value added service of Tata Docomo management said the following few lines in support of the launch of 'English Seekho' VAS in India.
“The launch of this application is indeed a proud moment for us as it marks the translation of our group’s vision to empower the nation through education. It is in our DNA to empower and enable customers to do more with their mobile, to do more with life! And hence launching services like English Seekho is not just a tool to monetize, but a facilitator for learning and education. Those who can’t speak English and converse, with English Seekho, situational spoken English can be learnt at the elementary level. The service liberates users from a classroom session to a complete mobile way of learning a language and we hope our subscribers will reap the benefits of the application in the days to come.”
The English Seekho service will be available at a cost of nearly Rs.10 as a subscription cost for 15 days. This is accompanied by a 1p per minute charge for availing the IVR based English lessons which will be entertained upto the validity of 15 days. After the validity period is over, one has to again subscribe for the service to extend the validity and use it further more.
