Now the good news for all the fans of the said music series phones from Sony Ericsson is that they have announced a new android phone within that same category and will be known as W8 Walkman. This music phone would be based on the Eclair (v2.1) edition of the android operating system and would come along with loads of other features and some good and standard technical configurations.
The W8 Walkman phone would be featuring a 3-inch capacitive HVGA display screen which would be supporting about 320 x 480 pixels of resolution and can effectively display around 16,777,216 colors. It is powered by a 600Mhz processor and 128MB RAM that would be also using the customized interface of Timescape UI over the Android platform. It also sports a camera of 3.2 Megapixels that includes digital zooming and geo tagging facilities. Being one of the Walkman series handset, it is obvious to have great support for music and thereby also facilitates easy access to these entertainment services through the use of single click customizable corners that is built into it.
Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman android phone will be having three different shades of colors as seen above and they are red, orange and blue but may also be available in some other colors too such as Azure.
