Google has been working a lot to change and improve the layout and interface of most of its product. Recently, it has brought around a lot of changes and redesigned the Google Search interface having more customized features and ease of use. Today, Google has made yet another change by making available a new and enhanced version of Google News to the smartphones which has many improvements for better access. The visual enhancements along with better usability features are now live for being used on the smartphones as has been announced in their official blogs.


The various enhancements and changes that are made in the Google News for smartphones are as follows:-

• The story space is expanded to make extra room for achieving more accurate results while tapping on the articles.
• The default appearance of the stories is now changed to remain collapsed in order to make scrolling faster.
• There will be a 'More sources' link to expand the collapsed news and also point to related news from other sources.

This new redesigned version of Google news will be available in Android, iPhone and Palm Pre along with other smartphones. You can access the Google News in mobile by accessing the following link from your mobile phone.
