There is a lot to cheer about for all the Harley-Davidson fans who are residing in India as the new year ahead has a lot of potential to amaze them with two new models namely 'SuperLow' and 'Iron 883'. The famous US based bike manufacturer has finally decided to roll-out these two models in India and it is proposed to be produced at the CKD assembly facility in Bawal, Haryana plant and both of them will be made available within the next year 2011. Both the bikes bearing the model name Harley-Davidson SuperLow and Harley-Davidson Iron 883 will cost around Rs.5.5 lacs and Rs.6.5lacs respectively and will be available for order through its dealership hopefully from the Q1 2011. The various technical specifications of these two upcoming motor-bikes are listed below.
Both the Harley-Davidson bikes i.e. SuperLow and Iron 883 will be available in India for market order from 2011 onwards and can be availed from the six dealerships which are currently operating in India that are located at Bengaluru (Tusker Harley-Davidson), Chandigarh (Himalayan Harley-Davidson), Hyderabad (Banjara Harley-Davidson), Mumbai (Seven Islands Harley-Davidson) and New Delhi (Capital Harley-Davidson). They both belong to the cheap and affordable range of the Harley-Davidson bikes and the ex-showroom prices are accordingly stated to be Rs.5,50,000/- and Rs.6,50,000/- respectively.
