The popular tablet based digital newspaper called 'The Daily' which was once available exclusively only for the iPad users is now heading to make its entry to the android devices. Earlier when it was launched on February 2nd, it was believed to be intended for iPad devices only but there are now some positive indication that an android version of the same is likely to be introduced soon.

Rupert Murdoch from News Corp had remarked in its launch that the said digital newspaper was built from the scratch on one of the greatest innovative product of his time, which he claims as that of the iPad. With so many praise being showered by him regarding this popular Apple product, it is really a matter of surprise with such an early indication about another version meant for the now trending Android tablets. But as one can rightly guess, its always going to be changed as publishers would definitely look through a good business prospective.

There are many reports form various sources which claims that the projected android version might end up releasing within the second quarter of 2011. Although 'The Daily' saw some impressive download figures over the days but all of them are still under the trial usage period as of now and hence it is too early to say how much popularity does it share at the present time.

But their intentions are now clear, which is that they will be trying to multiply the number of compatible devices and hence including Google Android as their new supported platform can be highly expected as most Tablet PC launched recently are based on that operating system apart from the iOS and the webOS which also exists in the row.

So, for now we can just wait until a final and official announcement is released in its regard and during this time period it will also be an interesting event to watch back how the subscription service works for the iPad users as the said trial period is about to end.
