Pre-order of Google Nexus S in India is now possible and one can book this new mobile handset at a price of Rs.28,000/- approximately from one of the leading online store known as Flipkart. This new smartphone is the successor of the popular Nexus One which was released by Google previously and which had been able to attract consumers and be widely popular among them. This is yet another android powered phone that features one of the latest android mobile operating system namely Gingerbread (Android v2.3).

Even though it was released worldwide, the Google Nexus One was not available in India and some other countries even till date and most users who desired such a device had to get it imported from various sources by giving away extra cash in addition to the original cost. However, Nexus S which was unveiled towards the end of December 2010 now seems to be heading to India too as the pre-order of the said android phone in India is now being accepted by Flipkart.

Boasting a large 4-inch SuperClear LCD screen display having effective resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the Nexus S smartphone also houses some of the heavily configured specifications such as 1GHz processor, 5 megapixels camera with support for HD recording at 720p, WiFI connectivity options and lots of other standard features and support. This device has got almost all other elements that can be expected within its price range and category and hence also turns out to be a good deal for people who have thought of purchasing a high-end android phone.

Specially in India, it is a matter of rejoice as the same is also apparently going to be the only Android handset which would be featuring the latest Gingerbread Mobile OS. Also being a product of Google and Samsung, the Nexus S does get some added advantage due to the brand name and reliability of services being offered by them. However, this is not going to be everyone's piece of cake as only those having guts to spend some hefty amount of 28K can avail it. But the best part of all these fact which still matters is that it is now confirmed to be available in India as Flipkart has pointed out that the same should arrive in the country within the month of April 2011.
