Bluetooth 4.0 is all set to make its entry with some of its redefined features and working protocols. This new standard of the bluetooth technology now seems to go green by focusing on some promising aspects to reduce power consumption and enhance the performance to a greater extent. As the previous and the current 3.0 version is yet to be implemented on most popular products, the new and the upcoming Bluetooth 4.0 is more of a surprise for many. With all the specifications already announced officially, the devices and the practical implementation is however set to be released within the Q4 2010.
There are no practical device available as of now to check and give a hand-on review regarding the core features and performance of the Bluetooth 4.0. However, there are some official press release which highlights the following few features that will be available within it.
As is obvious with all the Bluetooth standards released so far like that of the 'Enhanced Data Rate' with version 2.1, 'High Speed Technology' in version 3.0 and ultimately the 'Low Energy Wireless Technology' which is to feature in the latest Bluetooth 4.0 will certainly carry much potential to provide and share some of the best performance report. As Bluetooth SIG has already remarked that it would be possible to integrate this technology in devices that may extend beyond our imaginations, it would be worth the wait to see it really happen and be available practically for us to review and also to make use of.
