Last week we have written a review on Apple's Ping Social Networking for Music which is integrated into the iTunes 10 after its disagreement with Facebook where it was first planned to be integrated. Today, Ping has once again come to the limelight as it unveiled a cross-platform integration with the popular social networking site Twitter. With this release, now users of Ping can associate their Twitter accounts with it and share all their updates on Twitter automatically. As such, you will also be able to locate all your twitter followers on Ping apart from twitting your own Ping activities. However, the service which is now available in all the 23 iTunes supported countries will basically follow the Auto-Tweet feature for those associating their Ping account with Twitter and all their activities on Ping will be tweeted automatically.
The tweets that will be sent from Ping will contain the link of the particular music track or album which can also be listened as 90 second previews from Twitter's right side pane. In this regard, Carolyn Penner of Twitter’s communication team quoted the following few lines in support of the preview feature:-

"Last month, we launched a new version of Twitter that gives users the ability to see embedded photos and videos directly through the details pane. Adding the ability to listen to music previews makes that experience even richer."This cross-platform integration between Ping and Twitter is definitely going to make the Apple's iTunes Ping more social in true sense of the term and would be a big sigh of relief for them after their spat with Facebook.
