Samsung has launched a new Flipper style mobile phone in Russia which bears the mobile model number Samsung E2530. It is a clam-shell mobile phone which sports a 2-inch display screen and a 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera. It is a Quad Band mobile handset and is intended to serve as a mid-range mobile phone for basic communicative requirements and average multimedia entertainment. It comes with good battery life and also features an external screen which is hidden in the front panel but there is no provision for using multiple SIM cards in the mobile phone and supports only a single GSM network.
The Samsung E2530 has a flip form factor with a dual display screen each measuring a 2-inch LCD TFT LCD display having a screen resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and a 1-inch CSTN external screen of resolution equivalent to 96 x 96 pixels respectively. There is a 1.3 MP camera which can capture images and record videos at 15fps with a zoom capacity of 12x digital zoom.
