Sony has unveiled another HandyCam into its range which are basically made for use by professional hands. The new Sony NXCAM HandyCam features the E-mount lenses and also a CMOS sensor which is Super-35-sized. This new HanyCam model which was announced today by Sony is believed to hit the market by the early or mid 2011. There are no further informations that are disclosed regarding its price and full specs but the formats will be something familiar to that of the previous VG10 model sporting interchangeable lens and having H.264 or MP4 for 24/25p and ofcourse the AVCHD as the recording format.


According to the descriptions forwarded by Sony, this new model is intended to offer a boost in the performance of the HandyCam and thereby deliver better picture quality and sensitivity while in use. They also confirmed that it will retain the ability to produce the 'Bokeh effect' or what can also be termed as defocused image often used in motion pictures.The Sony NXCAM HandyCam will be priced for $3000 which is only an approximate value being placed by many experts within the community.
