Toshiba has launched its most anticipated smartbook known as Toshiba A100 which is believed to have many good features and technical specs built into it. This much awaited Toshiba A100 Smartbook has made its way to the UK market and is available for purchase therefrom. It is an android powered smartbook with a 10.1-inch screen display and has some really cool features and support under its hood. It has a 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 250 Chipset and a memory support for 512MB DDR2 RAM. It comes with a storage memory for 16GB but can be further expanded upto 32GB SSD. This smartbook comes with many other features and latest technical standards like a 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an integrated webcam of 1.3 MegaPixel, two USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, memory card reader and a head and mic jack.
The Toshiba A100 does not come with some features which are normally available under the other common Android powered devices some of which may be mentioned as that of the touchscreen features or 3G capability. There are however some indication that there will be one 3G enabled version of this smartbook available in the market from mid 2011.

Currently, the Toshiba A100 can be purchased only from UK and from online stores like Amazon. The equivalent and estimated price of Toshiba A100 in US is believed to be around 450USD while that of the price of Toshiba A100 in India can be expected to be around Rs.24,500/- approximately but the same is not announced officially and can only be bought from the UK market as of now.
