The much anticipated Ducati Diavel has finally made its way to enter the Indian market as the Italian based racing bike manufacturer has confirmed its launch which is scheduled to be around April, 2011 while its presence in the America and Europe will be registered in the early months of 2011 which would be most probably on January or February. In a statement made by Mirko Bodiga, who is the CEO of the Ducati Asia Pacific has revealed that the brand new Diavel is set to release on April in India along with a couple of other super-bikes which can also be availed during the first quarter of the new year.

Bearing a sporty look and being powered by a Ducati Testastretta 11° super-bike engine, this new model carries the potential to not only deliver the high performance but also provide an extreme level of rider comfort and enjoyment. The Ducati Diavel comes along with many new innovative technologies which are adopted to provide a new dimension of rider experience and some of these can be mentioned as that of Lateral radiators, Split-level instrumentation, Ride-by-Wire, Hands-free ignition and Ducati Traction Control to name a few of them. Therefore with many more bikes which are likely to be launched under the premium bike segments in India such as that of Harley-Davidson, Honda CBR etc., the Ducati Diavel will be on the center stage with all eyes glued to it to witness how it performs by the numerous biking enthusiastic in the country.

2011 Ducati Diavel Price and Availability


As already mentioned once above, this bike would be available in India from April 2011 and other places such as America and Europe on Jan-Feb 2011. The availability of Ducati Diavel in India will also bring around many more new dealerships and service stations in as many as 10 major cities apart from the already existing dealers in Mumbai and Gurgaon. With the opening of new dealers in various major cities of India like Ahmedabad and Gujarat, the sales per year is also targeted to increase from around 100 units to about 300 of them. The price of the Ducati Diavel in India is expected to be around 21lacs which is only an approximation as has been hinted from various sources and the actual cost in which it sells in India may however be different.
