The HP Mini 1103 is a new netbook model from HP which is intended to serve as an affordable business capable Netbook PC. It has a very good look which bears a modern black design and has a great build quality. Powered by Intel® Atom Processor, the HP Mini 1103 netbook sports a 10.1-inch diagonal WSVGA screen which features a LED Backlit. The keyboard has well spaced keys and there are 3USB ports to make use of. The featured aspects of the this new model is its light weight design which makes it easier to carry out work any where you would like to carry it. It also helps to stay connected with its provision for Wi-Fi certified WLAN which lets you connect to the Internet through any of your favourite hotspots. The battery charge can last for hours and it also offers an alternative optional battery without compromising with the weight of the netbook which is merely around 2.8lb.


The HP Mini 1103 comes with three choice of operating systems depending on the price and availability which are accordingly that of FreeDOS, Genuine Windows 7 Starter Edition and SUSE Linux Enterprise 11. It has a SATA storage drive which holds a capacity range of around 160GB to 320GB and the maximum memory supported for the netbook is 3GB DDR3 SDRAM.

Apart from all these configurations, it also includes other utility features like a media card reader, bluetooth, mobile broadband, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, and an Integrated VGA webcam. The two battery type supported are that of a 3-cell and a 6-cell battery, both of them being a high capacity Li-Ion battery.

The Price of HP Mini 1103 in India is not yet confirmed and it is supposed to arrive soon in the market. However, the expected price of HP Mini 1103 netbook in India is set to be within the price range of Rs.18,000 to Rs.20,000/-.
