Victorinox has announced the inclusion of three new USB device namely Victorinox Slim, Slim Duo and the Secure SSD in their collection and has thereby published a press release in this regard. For all those who are unaware of this Victorinox and their products, let me inform you that this is the same brand which has brought forward the well known Swiss Army Knives as well as many Secure USB Pro devices. The three new addition was featured in the recent CES event which was held at Las Vegas and all of them comes with some good features and specifications.
The aforesaid Victorinox USB devices also includes the pocket knife which is integrated as a single product. Each of these three products have some distinct properties and features and hence makes it quite different than any other USB storage devices. The Victorinox Slim devices sports a very sleek interface and a slim form factor while also facilitating data storage capacity up to a maximum of 64GB. This USB device also includes a sharp pocket knife which consist of blades, scissors and nail file. It is offered in multiple colors and some of them can be mentioned as blue, green, silver, pink etc. and they also provide resistances which accordingly have the properties of being shock proof and waterproof.
The Victorinox Slim Duo is similar to the previous slim version but as the name already suggest, it offers double capacity. That means, the storage capacity is up to 128GB and this is what the term 'duo' reflects. Apart from it, there are not much changes available and it offers almost similar sets of features such as the color choice, performance, durability and not to forget, the trademarked standard pocket knife.
The Secure SSD product from Victorinox is considered as one of the smallest Solid State Drive which boast an impressive 256GB storage capacity while also offering a lot of useful features and support. This includes enhanced data transfer speed such that the read/write operation on to this SSD is much faster as compared to all other products in its row and the best part of it is that there also exist secure data encryption to protect the data stored within it. Other noteworthy features and specs includes a Monochrome Graphic display having resolution of 96 x 48 Pixel which can be used to display text on it and also offers the support for 32-bit high speed processor and dynamic power management. Lastly, you can also avail the popular Swiss Army Knife within this compact and high-speed USB Solid State Drive.
The price of Victorinox Mini, Mini Duo and Secure SSD are not announced till now and there is also not much information being released regarding its availability in the market.
