As stated by them, the Motorola Xoom ( also pronounced as Zoom) is scheduled for release in India on 10th of May, 2011 and has thereby started accepting pre-orders such that the items would be dispatched within 3-4 business days after the product launches in India on the aforesaid date. Accordingly, the cost of Motorola Xoom Android Tablet in India is fixed at Rs.35,000/- in Infibeam for a 32GB unit in black color.

There are however some additional costs involved while ordering this tablet such as Octroi charges and the local taxes which would add to the price of Motorola Xoom tablet in India. The ordered items would be shipped to the customers through well-reputed courtier services as well as Indian Speed Post depending on the area from where the order was registered to that of the service area of the concerned courier services.

Although there are couple of months remaining for it to physically arrive in India, the securing of the product with a pre-order might be helpful to all the enthusiast waiting for its debut in the country. But one thing that might play spoil-sport for the said tablet is that of its price which seems to be on the higher side than what would have been generally expected from a device of this repute and quality.
