LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus Black smartphones can now be purchased from Indian market as the official launch of both these two handsets in India have been confirmed. This will be something special for the mobile users of the country as the Optimus 2X is considered as the first dual core mobile phone whereas the Optimus Black is known to be featuring the NOVA display for the first time. Both of them are expensive and may not be of much use for general users but the price seems just right looking at the features that it offers. They were earlier launched and made available in many different countries like Australia and UK and now it seems to be heading towards India.

LG phones are not very popular among the people in this country except a few of the high-end models with some unique features and extra-ordinary design. They are both based on the Froyo edition of the Android operating system and offers some good configurations and features which make them distinct among all other mobile phones in its row.


The LG Optimus Black has a 1GHz processor and a memory capacity of 512MB RAM and 2GB of internal phone storage memory. The display screen measures 4-inch with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and comes along with a 5 megapixels camera with flash and digital zoom support. The LG Optimus 2X on the other hand sports an 8 megapixel camera and is powered by an 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor. The memory however remains the same at 512MB RAM but has higher internal storage capacity of 8GB which allow more space for storing multimedia contents and other files on the device itself. It also sports a high quality 8 Megapixels camera and a 4-inch capacitive touch display along with many other distinct features.

The price of LG Optimus 2X in India is said to be fixed at Rs.29,999/- and that of LG Optimus Black at Rs.26,999/- approximately. The availability of these two android smartphones can be expected to be made available soon and can then be purchased from mobile stores throughout the country when the same is rolled out in the market.
